2 receivers Aaron Rodgers can recruit for the Packers

The Green Bay Packers are now in dire need of a receiver after trading Davante Adams.

The former Packers wide receiver has been a big part of Aaron Rodgers’ success over the past few years.

The Packers and Rodgers will be looking for a high-level replacement for the team.

The team makes the playoffs almost every year.

This should make things easier when courting an elite receiver.

So who are the two receivers Rodgers can help bring into the Pack?

2.Julio Jones

Julio Jones is a veteran receiver with the experience Rodgers could use right now.

He’s also a star catcher with Super Bowl experience.

The only downside that would come with this is the age factor.

At 33, Jones is no longer at his peak.

However, there have been receivers in the same age group who have done well with a good quarterback.

Rodgers can give Jones the quarterback he needs, while he gives Rodgers the receiver he needs.

The acquisition would be beneficial for all parties involved.

Rodgers can reignite that fire in Jones if the Packers make him an offer.

1. Chris Godwin

Some might find this shocking, but Rodgers could lure Chris Godwin away from Brady and Tampa Bay.

He gets the chance to use the reports of Tampa Bay and Brady chasing Jones to his advantage.

We saw with Baker Mayfield in Cleveland how a team meeting with another player can ruin a relationship.

Even though Godwin and the Buccaneers have signed a new contract, things can always change in the NFL.

If he feels like he’s been snubbed for Jones, that could lead him to ask for a trade.

We see that playing out in Cleveland right now since they met Deshaun Watson.

After hearing this news, Mayfield took to Twitter to express his feelings.

This led to Mayfield wanting to leave Cleveland.

If Rodgers uses that example and pitches it to Godwin, he could find himself an elite receiver.

The Packers have the draft capital to make the trade, and it would be the best trade the Packers could make this season.
