2 people injured in rollover accident in River North

CHICAGO (CBS) – Two people are injured after an accident caused their vehicle to overturn in River North just after midnight.

At approximately 12:35 a.m., a 32-year-old man and 27-year-old passenger inside a Jeep were traveling west on the 100 block of West Huron when he struck a waiting white Acura SUV to a light red. The Jeep then struck a parked car, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side, police said.

Both occupants of the Jeep sustained minor injuries and were transported to Northwestern Hospital in good condition. The driver of the SUV, a 36-year-old woman, complained of neck and back pain but refused to seek treatment at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
