Two Chicago police officers were injured in a car crash Thursday night in the West Lawn neighborhood.
Just after 7:30 p.m., officers were responding to a call, with lights and sirens on, in the 6800 block of South Hamlin Avenue when they collided with a Nissan Pathfinder, Chicago police said.
The officers were both taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, according to Chicago Police and Fire Department.
Officers were injured in the head, arm and shoulder, police said.
The 47-year-old woman, driving the Nissan, refused to seek treatment, police said.
At the scene, the police SUV appeared to have crashed into a house on the corner of the block.
Citations are pending, according to police.
