The AFC Championship game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs has finally arrived.

These two teams met in the AFC title last year, in a game the Bengals won in overtime.

Both of these teams are led by elite quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow.

The match will most likely be decided on the arm of these two players.

Here are two bold predictions for the AFC Championship game.

Burrow and Chase Connect for 3 touchdowns

One of the best quarterback receiver duos in the NFL is Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase.

Both players are among the best in the league at their positions.

In last year’s AFC title game, Chase recorded 11 receptions for 266 yards and three touchdowns.

There should be no doubt that the Star Wide Receiver is up for another dominating performance.

One reason is that the Chiefs don’t have anyone who can keep Chase one-on-one.

It’s a game nightmare and Burrow should be looking hard in this game.

Cincinnati is a go-first team, so having success in the air is the best chance they have of winning this game.

Kansas City does not score 20 points

In their 17-game regular season and one playoff game, the Chiefs only scored less than 20 points once.

That was in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.

For the Bengals to keep them under 20, they will need to be dominant up front.

The pass rush will have to be after Mahomes all game and force him to try and use his injured ankle to move.

Cincinnati’s defense staged a clinic against the Bills last week at Buffalo, limiting them to just 10 points.

The Bengals gave up just 20.1 points per game in the regular season.

Additionally, they held the Chiefs to 24 points when they played Week 13.
