Better.com | Dismissed employees: Between 4,500 and 4,700 | Better.com gave 900 employees pink slips in 2021 and made headlines for how it delivered the message – via a Zoom call. In April 2022, the company laid off an additional 1,200 to 1,500 employees and over the next two months laid off over 3,100 staff in the United States and India.
